These
drawings reveal the complex interplay of space, movement, musical score and light in an opera production, and Kaneko's dedication to nurturing this creative experience. Gallery hours are Mon - Fri, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Visit their website for more details. | Signs of Reappropriation • Sep 22 - Nov 30 The Savannah College of Art and Design @ ACA Gallery of SCAD, 1280 Peachtree St, Atlanta SCAD will exhibit the first Atlanta solo show of French artist Kader Attia at the ACA Gallery of SCAD. "Signs of Reappropriation" will feature a site-specific installation of Attia's 2007 "Untitled (Skyline)"
series, which consists of 80 discarded refrigerators painted black and covered in tiny, geometric mirror "windows." Also, Attia will exhibit a newly commissioned body of photographs that he will print and install during a brief residency at SCAD-Atlanta.

Visit their website for more details. | Artist Talk with Danielle Roney: "Genesis Trial: Johannesburg" • Oct 23 The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia -- MOCA GA @ MOCA GA Exhibition Galleries, 75 Bennett Street, Atlanta Danielle Roney is the third artist in the series of three Working Artist Project winners for 2007-2008. The Working Artist Project is an initiative of MOCA GA funded by the Charles Loridans Foundation to
support established working artists in metropolitan Atlanta. Genesis Trial: Johannesburg is the solo exhibition that presents work made over the period of the grant. Roney is a multi-media artist whose installation will include video projections and computer generated imagery. The artist will be speaking about her work which draws on concepts and visual references to her time spent in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2007.
