Mature Content Regional Premiere | Music Theatre | Altar Boyz • Oct 1 @ 8:00 pm Horizon Theatre Company (Atlanta - Little 5 Points, Grant Park, East Atlanta) N’Sync could learn some moves from this heavenly boy band, apostles of pop who praise the Lord with funk and rhyme. This long-running, critically-acclaimed musical comedy is the hilarious story of a
small-town Christian boy-band (with one nice Jewish boy). Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan and Abraham are nearing the end of their “Raise the Praise” tour of church halls and picnics. Now they have their chance to break into the big time, bringing their soul-saving tour to Atlanta. The Emory Cinematheque is a joint effort organized and co-sponsored by Emory College and the Film Studies Department to provide the Atlanta community with programs of important international films throughout the academic year in a repertory cinema environment.
